College-Based Summer Camps Are Open for Registration!

Science students

Explore pre-college camps all around the country, by doing an internet search for "Pre-college camps Engineering" (or whatever your topic of interests) or by institution, like "Pre-college camps NC State" (or your school of choice).

To save you some time we have compiled a very extensive list of camps and programs for you.  Just click on the button to access it.

Discover career interests, Explore passions and Experience a college campus.

If you've ever attended our College Bound Essentials workshop, you'll know we recommend that each summer of high school consist of:

  • Something for your own enrichment
  • Something that benefits others
  • Something for fun
  • Read 2 good books of your own choosing

When it comes to the 1st item, "enrichment", a good option to consider is an academic or career exploration camp offered by a university. These typically last 1-2 weeks and can help students discover careers of interest, help them explore colleges as a temporary student, and step out and make a new set of friends.

Most camps are "residential", meaning that the student will live in the dorms and eat in the cafeteria for that week. Some of the colleges in my list are only day camps but they'll be clearly noted.
