    Elizabeth is the founder and owner of  Scholarship Gold Consulting.  Her understanding of the college-bound process is second to none and started as a student: She won full rides for all of her own undergraduate & graduate school education, and all her children have attended very competitive colleges (Yale, Dartmouth, Duke, Michigan State and College of Charleston Honors College).

    After over 20 years in the field, she is a sought after consultant for high school students, parents, graduates, schools and school districts.  She is a regular panelist for college scholarship competitions and a published author.

    Nancy Manning is passionate about helping students craft a future tailored to their unique gifts, talents, interests, and dreams. She has a Master's in School Counseling and was a founding team member of a local public charter high school that is a model for student-athletes wishing to compete at the collegiate level. 

    Although experienced and well-rounded in all aspects of college counseling, she is especially knowlegeable about atheletic recruiting, aviation careers and all things financial (FAFSA and Profile).

    Beverly spent nearly 20 years as a top pharmaceutical sales representative, earning a reputation among her peers for her intellect, tenacity, attentive listening, and relentless follow-through. Today, she brings these same strengths to her work as a college counselor.

    Originally a client herself, Beverly experienced firsthand how Scholarship Gold effectively guided her and her two daughters through the complexities of modern college admissions—with exceptional results. That journey sparked a deep passion for college counseling and a desire to help other students achieve the same transformational experience: identifying their strengths, aligning them with meaningful career paths, finding best-fit schools, and maximizing opportunities to reduce the cost of college while reaching their goals.

    To that end, Beverly has fully immersed herself in the field, pursuing national certifications, job shadowing, and conducting extensive independent research. She will begin accepting clients in Summer 2026.


Our Origin Story

How a kind gesture turned into a passion and a business!

Just ask Elizabeth's husband and he will tell you she has a razor sharp mind and is very passionate about helping people, especially children.  So when a friend, who knew she'd won scholarships that paid for her entire education through grad school, asked her to help a bright young man whose parents had neither the means nor the know-how to get him into college, she rose to the challenge. With her guidance he won a full ride to a prestigious university.  And then the calls started.  Now over 20 years later she is an in-demand speaker, consultant and author with a brand that continues to grow.  She is more passionate than ever about ensuring as many kids as she and her colleagues can handle have an opportunity to earn a college degree without the crippling burden of debt.
